We’re nestled within the bustling heart of downtown Eau Claire, right on the Chippewa River Trail, mere feet from the Eau Claire River, and just blocks away from several restaurants, retailers, pubs, parks, farmers markets, theaters, and various nightly events.
Our unique property consists of two distinct buildings — The Main House and The Flats — joined by our actively programmed courtyard and our comfortable, woodsy patio. In addition to rooms, the Main House hosts The Lakely — our cocktail lounge and music venue — as well as our on-site outdoor outfitter offering bikes and other adventure gear. You can eat, drink, and be merry anywhere within the walls of our property. And we hope you do just that.
From the locally handcrafted wood furniture in our rooms to the cut-stone fire pits in our courtyard, the design and amenities at the Oxbow Hotel have been thoughtfully considered in an effort to make your stay enjoyable — and reflective of the spirit of Eau Claire. While our most valuable amenity is an attentive staff ready to assist you around the clock, here are a few notable things we have to offer:
EXPERIENCES FEE: Unique experiences and amenities are core to our vision, and to help us support and activate these initiatives, we’ve implemented a small Experiences Fee of $10 per night (this will show as a "resort fee"). This fee includes access to experiences and amenities available at The Oxbow Hotel and The Lakely, including: Wi-Fi, parking, 24-hour lobby beverages (Wonderstate “Oxbow Blend” coffee, Rishi tea, water), in-room record players and our lobby Vinyl Library, Oxbow bicycles, indoor and outdoor games, weekly live music and events at The Lakely (see Public Events for dates) and special discounts at neighborhood shopping and experiential businesses, like Eau Claire Outdoors.
The Oxbow Hotel and The Lakely play host to weekly indoor events in the cocktail lounge and the gallery, as well as periodic outdoor events in our courtyard and patio.
Our courtyard and patio — featuring outdoor fire pits, couches, tables, and more — make for a great outdoor spot for larger seasonal events as well.
Our Gallery can play host to a number of different community events including small concerts, film screenings, book readings, talks, parties, and more.
